Building

The Capacity Collaborative has worked with Tribes and indigenous peoples for over 20 years to help build their capacity to protect their environment. The skills we teach include:

• Leadership,

• Strategic Planning,

• Management,

• Communications, and

• Community Engagement.

Most recently we have provided workshops for the Hoopa Tribe and San Carlos Apache to help them develop better communication approaches. We developed an outreach program for Fallon Paiute to help them access community knowledge. For the New Mexico Tribal Resiliency Action Network we developed a full-day engagement workshop to help them develop a Tribal Climate Menu that reflects their membership.
